Finance Controller (Automotive)

Location: Wuxi, China; the job description also lists Anhui as the working location.

What you will do

• Lead the financial operations of an hirify.global joint venture in China and act as a business partner to the General Manager.
• Manage month-end reporting, forecasting, profit planning, and strategic planning in line with hirify.global requirements.
• Analyze profitability, trends, costs, and budget performance while driving operational and commercial improvements.
• Maintain strong financial systems and procedures that support accurate reporting and effective internal controls.
• Develop financial strategies, assess new business quotations, and ensure profitability and return on investment meet hirify.global and joint venture board requirements.
• Manage relationships with internal and external auditors and local tax authorities, while coaching and developing the local finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 5–8 years of experience in financial and business management, including at least 2 years as a Finance Controller.
• Manufacturing experience is required; automotive industry experience is an advantage.
• CPA, ACCA, or a relevant professional qualification.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, China GAAP, SOX implementation, and Hyperion.
• Excellent English and Chinese language skills required. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
