Localization Operations Manager (EdTech)

Location: Barcelona, Spain. A relocation package is available to join the Barcelona hub.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the end-to-end localization operating model across key business domains.
• Design scalable workflows for new content types, product features, and changing business needs.
• Define localization KPIs, reporting frameworks, capacity plans, demand forecasts, and utilization improvements.
• Directly manage 3+ Localization Project Managers and develop a high-performing, autonomous team.
• Oversee complex, multilingual product localization initiatives, including timelines, resources, risks, and delivery quality.
• Lead vendor strategy, process governance, tooling requirements, and opportunities for automation and AI adoption.

Requirements

• 7+ years of localization experience, including senior-level project management.
• 2+ years of people management experience and a track record of building high-performing teams.
• Experience scaling localization operations in fast-growing technology environments and managing complex, multilingual product ecosystems.
• Experience defining KPIs, tracking performance, managing vendors, and working with senior cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience driving AI adoption or automation initiatives in localization; familiarity with localization tools, CAT tools, and workflow platforms.
• Professional fluency in English and strong analytical, strategic, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Native proficiency in Polish, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, or Arabic.
• EdTech or marketplace experience.
