Senior Director of Solutions Architecture for the Americas (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada

Salary: United States $270,000–$425,000 USD plus bonus, equity and commission; Canada $380,000–$539,750 CAD plus bonus, equity and commission.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, hire and develop the commercial Solutions Architecture organization across the US and Canada.
• Own the technical outcomes of strategic enterprise pursuits and partner with Sales leadership on regional commercial performance.
• Define the vision, strategy, operating model and technical coverage model for Americas Solutions Architecture.
• Guide customers in designing and deploying secure, scalable agentic AI solutions across cloud, hybrid, VPC and on-premises environments.
• Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions, solution presentations, technical deep dives and business-case development.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success to influence platform improvements, roadmap priorities and field practices.

Requirements

• 15+ years in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting or Enterprise Architecture, including 7+ years leading customer-facing technical teams.
• Proven experience hiring, coaching and developing high-performing technical organizations and senior leaders.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate with CEOs, CIOs, Chief AI Officers and CISOs.
• Hands-on technical credibility with large language models, agentic systems, retrieval, enterprise integrations, cloud platforms, security and governance.
• Experience leading complex enterprise solution engagements, influencing strategic deals and articulating business value.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.

• Experience building or turning around a regional technical field organization.
• Background in enterprise AI, cloud, data platforms or applied AI consulting.
• Experience supporting regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, energy or the public sector.
• A network of senior technical field talent and experience in high-growth environments.
