TL;DR
Senior Director of IT (SaaS, AI, and Automation): Building and scaling Docker’s enterprise-wide IT organization, applications ecosystem, help desk services, device lifecycle operations, and internal productivity tools with an accent on service quality, metrics, and strategic technology planning. Focus on architecting connected cloud-based systems, developing multi-year IT roadmaps, managing technical debt, and aligning IT services with company-wide business goals.
Location: United States; remote-first
Salary: $207,550–$296,500 annually plus equity in the United States. Canada range: CA$282,766–CA$403,951 plus equity.

What you will do
- Set the mission, vision, and multi-year strategy for ’s Information Technology organization.
- Build a metrics-driven IT organization focused on continual service improvement and internal customer productivity.
- Lead enterprise help desk services, application management, device lifecycle logistics, and employee productivity tooling.
- Assess, architect, and right-size the applications ecosystem across SaaS and cloud-based platforms.
- Develop service workflows, KPIs, real-time operational metrics, and service-level agreements.
- Partner with technical leaders, business executives, and the Central Operations & Systems leadership team on cross-company initiatives.
Requirements
- 12+ years of global IT leadership experience, including experience in a fast-moving technology startup.
- Experience with modern SaaS and cloud-based infrastructures and scaling application ecosystems.
- Ability to develop high-level strategies, translate them into tactical plans, and execute them.
- AI- and automation-first approach to consolidating and managing systems and organizational knowledge.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, team motivation, and technical leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field.
