Salary: $320,000–$400,000 USD

What you will do

• Hire, develop, and retain a world-class team of Forward Deployed Engineers, providing technical mentorship and career growth opportunities.
• Staff and oversee customer engagements, making resource allocation decisions based on customer needs and business priorities.
• Collaborate with account teams and Engagement Managers to qualify and scope work for customer engagements.
• Review technical architectures and code to ensure high-quality, production-ready solutions for customer problems.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, prototype solutions, and debug complex issues alongside your team when necessary.
• Build repeatable playbooks, starter repositories, and an internal knowledge base from field learnings.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or a technical customer-facing role.
• 2+ years of people management experience within a services/post-sales/FDE organization, with a track record of hiring and developing engineers.
• Experience building organizations from 0 to 1.
• Comfort working directly with enterprise customers and navigating complex organizational dynamics.
• Executive presence and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed (25-50%).
