Intern - Trade Compliance

Location: Bridgeton, Missouri, United States; onsite

hirify.global, a Panasonic subsidiary, provides commercial refrigeration products, services, and systems for grocers and convenience stores.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day trade compliance operations and learn how import and export regulations affect business processes.
• Use Excel and IT skills to help develop compliance processes and improve organizational efficiency.
• Collaborate and network with senior leaders, associates, and other interns.
• Visit the manufacturing facility, Global Hub, and R&D Lab to learn about operations and product quality testing.
• Participate in community outreach, career development, team-building events, and the twelve-week Ideation & Innovation Challenge.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify a solution, develop a business proposal, and present it to executive leaders and judges.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program pursuing at least a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, interact with all organizational levels, and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills, motivation, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to relocate if not local; onsite work in Bridgeton, Missouri is required.
