Production Scientist I (Blood Virus)

What you will do

• Manufacture Blood Virus Reagent Kits supporting clinical diagnostic testing.
• Perform in-process testing and quality checks against product specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate product and process issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain production equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and team performance.
• Update standard operating procedures and work instructions to reflect operational best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical science or engineering field and/or compliance, including complaints, quality, or regulatory work.
• Ability to work hands-on across manufacturing, laboratory, office, cleanroom, and controlled manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to work on-site and follow PPE and contamination-control requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or diagnostics environments.
• Knowledge of GMP, GDP, or quality-system requirements.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, or maintaining manufacturing or laboratory equipment.
• Experience conducting investigations, root cause analysis, or problem-solving activities.
