Quality Analyst Microbiology

Location: Waterford, Ireland; onsite 12/7 shift role with four 12-hour days. Nights, weekends, schedule changes, and overtime may be required.

Salary: €41,600–€55,467 per year.

What you will do

• Provide microbiology support to Quality Assurance, Qualified Persons, Validation, Manufacturing, Planning, and other site departments.
• Perform QC microbiology testing, including water sampling and testing, environmental monitoring, and compressed air and nitrogen testing.
• Review documentation and support batch release activities.
• Provide technical guidance to the QC Microbiology Team and external departments.
• Follow cGMP, approved methodologies, standard operating procedures, and pharmacopeias.
• Represent QC Microbiology in cross-functional meetings and contribute to laboratory continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience in a QC department within a pharmaceutical or GMP facility.
• Experience with microbiological techniques and understanding of key performance indicators.
• Knowledge of quality management systems such as Veeva, Qualipso, or TrackWise.
• Knowledge of laboratory management systems such as LUNA.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, preferably Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Food Science.
• Strong communication, influencing, collaboration, independent-working, motivation, ambition, and goal-orientation skills.
