Associate Scientist Chemistry - Finished Product Testing (Pharmaceutical Chemistry)

Location: Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, Ireland; onsite, full-time

Salary: EUR 35,000–45,000 yearly

What you will do

• Perform routine and non-routine quality control analysis of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical finished products.
• Complete test records accurately and on time in line with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Follow GMP guidelines and internal quality standards, ensuring all activities are documented and traceable.
• Identify quality and service improvements and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Participate in root cause analysis, prepare exception reports, and maintain training records.
• Provide training in validated techniques, cover for colleagues, and participate in weekend, overtime, and on-call schedules.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of GMP finished product testing experience.
• Good knowledge of HPLC and GMP requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional, proactive, flexible, quality-focused, customer-focused, and willing to learn.
• Excellent communication skills.
