BioAssay Analyst

Location: Loughbeg, Ringaskiddy, County Cork, Ireland; onsite laboratory work with biweekly rotating shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.

What you will do

• Perform analytical and bioassay testing according to pharmacopeial, regulatory, GMP, and Eurofins quality standards.
• Generate, interpret, and review data supporting release and stability testing within agreed timelines.
• Receive, distribute, track, and document laboratory samples accurately and on time.
• Maintain analytical techniques, laboratory equipment, SOPs, procedures, reports, and quality records.
• Investigate deviations and out-of-specification results and recommend process and efficiency improvements.
• Train and support colleagues, maintain training records, and provide team coverage as required.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific discipline and experience in a laboratory environment.
• Practical knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, Capillary SDS, Capillary IEF, ELISA, UV, pH, turbidity, or particulate analysis.
• Experience with laboratory systems and software, including LIMS, and accurate compliant record-keeping.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and a methodical approach.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience in a GMP-regulated laboratory setting.
• Experience with sample management.
