QC Environmental Monitoring Analyst (Biopharmaceutical Cleanroom)

Location: Limerick, Ireland; onsite at a client facility. Full-time permanent role with required 07:00–19:00 biweekly rotating shifts.

What you will do

• Conduct routine environmental monitoring in ISO 7 and ISO 8 biopharmaceutical cleanrooms while maintaining aseptic behaviours and compliant gowning standards.
• Perform viable and non-viable air monitoring, surface sampling, incubation, and monitoring of compressed gas systems.
• Sample ethanol, Water for Injection, and clean steam systems.
• Support investigations through ad hoc sampling and swabbing, and report anomalous or quality-related events.
• Maintain GMP-compliant documentation and support post-shutdown and response monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance, process improvement, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience working in a cleanroom or microbiology laboratory.
• Practical knowledge of GMP, aseptic techniques, cleanroom behaviours, and laboratory safety standards.
• Strong organisational, documentation, data-recording, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate anomalies, communicate effectively, work in a team, and provide high-quality customer service.
• Flexibility to work the specified rotating shift pattern in Limerick is required.
