Finance Intern (AI)

Location: Bridgeton, Missouri, United States; onsite. Relocation may be required for candidates who are not local. The twelve-week summer internship is expected to run from the third week of May through the first week of August.

A global commercial refrigeration equipment manufacturer serving the food retailing industry with connected solutions, manufacturing capabilities, and product-quality testing facilities.

What you will do

• Analyze financial data, build financial models, and support decision-making.
• Assist with forecasting, reporting, operational metrics, monthly close entries, and reconciliations.
• Perform variance analysis, review P&L trends, analyze margins, and recommend improvements.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and collections, tax, capital expenditure, and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Create standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards to improve finance processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional interns and mentors to develop and present a solution during the Ideation & Innovation Challenge.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing at least a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, interact with all organizational levels, and maintain attention to detail.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience using AI platforms.
• Ability to relocate if not local to Bridgeton, Missouri.
