IT Financial Analyst Internship (AI)

What you will do

• Support IT Finance projects involving financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Gather, organize, and analyze financial and operational data for departmental initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models and scenario analyses.
• Prepare variance analyses, KPI dashboards, spend reports, and IT cost reporting.
• Analyze spending trends and cost drivers to provide actionable business insights.
• Complete a final internship project focused on IT spend optimization planning or reporting automation and analytics.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Junior or senior academic standing preferred; other class levels may be considered.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis, plus knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, accruals, P&L reporting, and CAPEX versus OPEX.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate meaningful business insights.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience with reporting tools, dashboard development, and AI-assisted financial analysis.
