Revenue Analyst

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid

Salary: $185,000–$215,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and maintain production-grade dbt models and dashboards connecting Salesforce, CPQ, contracts, Orb, and product usage data.
• Create canonical marts covering customers, products, contract terms, subscriptions, commitments, credits, billable usage, and invoices.
• Reconcile metered usage with billed revenue, invoice line items, and contract terms, investigating discrepancies before they affect customers or reporting.
• Partner with Finance and Revenue Operations to define and govern metrics for bookings, commitments, consumption, billed revenue, ARR, NDR, and expansion.
• Support monthly close, revenue forecasting, and operating reviews through variance and trend analysis.
• Document metric logic, data ownership, lineage, and exception handling while adding tests and version control.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, revenue analytics, or a related field.
• Advanced SQL and dbt skills, including production-grade models, testing, documentation, lineage, and cloud data warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with usage-based billing or metering platforms such as Orb and payment platforms such as Stripe.
• Experience modeling minimum commitments, prepaid credits, tiered or volume pricing, overages, custom rate cards, and contract changes.
• Experience working with Salesforce and CPQ data, including products, price books, quotes, orders, amendments, and renewals.
• Experience building dashboards and self-serve analytics with BI tools such as Sigma or Hex.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Orb in a high-growth B2B consumption-based business.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition, monthly close, and audit support.
• Experience with AI infrastructure, developer platforms, or inference.
