Senior Data Analyst, Public Sector (AI)

Location: Washington, DC, United States

Base salary: $182,400–$228,000 USD per year, plus potential equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own data quality for the public-sector domain by documenting models, troubleshooting discrepancies, and establishing centralized metric definitions.
• Partner with delivery, operations, finance, engineering, and leadership to define and track key metrics.
• Build scalable dashboards, data models, standard processes, and other analytical solutions.
• Measure operational efficiency initiatives across cost, quality, and delivery outcomes.
• Analyze program cost drivers with Finance to inform pricing strategy.
• Drive complex analytical projects to completion with minimal guidance and investigate problems to their root causes.

Requirements

• Active Secret U.S. security clearance is required; Top Secret U.S. clearance is preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling tools such as dbt.
• Experience building dashboards and reports with BI tools such as Tableau or Metabase.
• Strong business acumen, stakeholder partnership, communication skills, and the ability to translate technical analysis into actionable narratives.
• Ability to work through ambiguity, make sound trade-offs, and manage complex projects independently.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with air-gapped and federal environments.
• Business Operations experience, including process analytics or process mining such as workflow optimization.
