Sr. Maintenance Technician - Blow Mold (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair blow molders, injection molders, fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, stretch wrappers, and auxiliary plant equipment.
• Maintain equipment uptime through rapid problem identification, root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance.
• Lead equipment overhauls, upgrades, continuous improvement projects, and recurring-problem resolution with plant leadership.
• Train operators, mechanics, supervisors, and maintenance team members on technical procedures and equipment troubleshooting.
• Create machine troubleshooting SOPs and upload them to the BDA system.
• Provide on-call availability and maintain regular, predictable attendance while working in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment and 6 years of experience in the position; experience may combine education and work experience.
• At least 4 years of experience managing people or projects.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process instrumentation schematics.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, shop equipment, precision measuring tools, and industrial troubleshooting.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds; own toolbox and basic tools required.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of manufacturing maintenance or related position experience and 6 years managing people or projects.
• Experience with blow molding, injection molding, packaging, beverage production, Krones, Husky, Sidel, or similar bottling equipment.
• Experience leading and developing others, creating continuous improvement initiatives, and performing fabrication or welding.
• Experience with 480VAC and 24VDC systems, variable frequency drives, servo motors, PLC I/O cards, safety modules, and industrial communication systems.
• Associate's degree in manufacturing, mechatronics, automation, or a related field.
