Sr Maintenance Technician (Biopharma)

Location: Pearl River, New York, onsite; US and Puerto Rico residents only

Salary: $31.32–$41.76 per hour

What you will do

• Provide technical support for manufacturing operations, maintenance teams, and site projects.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, daily equipment checks, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial process equipment.
• Identify root causes of system failures and provide subject-matter expertise for deviation investigations.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, major repairs, and shutdowns.
• Complete work orders and time entries accurately in the CMMS system.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians and manufacturing operators on routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably biotech, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Experience with GMP requirements, CMMS, PLCs, instrumentation, electronics, and single-phase and three-phase 480V electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical documentation, with strong communication and documentation skills.
• Availability to work onsite, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
