Field Services Technician (Hazardous Waste)

Location: Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite field work with up to 30% travel and occasional overnight travel

Salary: $18.85–$25.05 per hour

What you will do

• Handle and package hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Operate pressure washers, hydro blast equipment, forklifts, specialty vacuum equipment, and hand and power tools.
• Perform confined-space entries, work at heights, and complete physically demanding field activities in varied weather conditions.
• Complete manifests, critical-path documentation, and job summaries.
• Communicate with project managers and on-site customers.
• Follow company policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• At least one year of experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test, lift or move up to 50 pounds, and work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, prioritization, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification; training is provided if not already obtained.
