What you will do
- Oversee builder approvals, draw schedules, inspections, construction loan servicing, and conversion of construction or renovation loans.
- Manage the construction platform vendor and held-for-sale pipeline while maintaining controls, requalification procedures, and customer service standards.
- Review aged and salable loans, construction documentation, inspection reports, draw requests, disbursements, and loan balancing.
- Monitor SOX controls, reconcile general ledger and direct deposit accounts, review year-end tax processing, and lead audit and compliance responses.
- Identify process improvements, construction-code developments, product opportunities, and changes in risk tolerance.
- Lead training, staffing, interviews, onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and collaboration with sales and secondary-market leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 7 years of job-related experience.
- Excellent project management, communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and job-related software, including intermediate Microsoft Excel and basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry identifier preferred and required for the position.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided.
