IT Assurance Analyst (Fintech)

Salary: $93,200–$109,000 annually, plus a 10% annual target bonus

What you will do

• Conduct end-to-end functional and non-functional testing for new and modified IT systems before production launch.
• Develop and execute test plans and cases, document defects, and coordinate issue resolution with technology, business, and project management resources.
• Support test automation initiatives and evaluate predictive testing approaches, automation tools, and quality assurance processes.
• Plan and execute IT security controls testing and support vulnerability management and compliance programs.
• Investigate system outages and software defects, determine root causes, and address testing gaps.
• Provide testing consultation and technical mentoring across multiple technology areas and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience with a credit union or financial institution is preferred.
• At least 1 year of technical software testing or quality assurance experience is required; 6+ years of relevant IT experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices, SDLC, security controls, IT risk management, and financial-industry deployment requirements.
• Experience with ITIL, DevOps, SRE, or Agile methodologies and functional, automated, performance, scalability, and unit testing.
• Analytical, communication, project coordination, root-cause problem-solving, and customer service skills, including the ability to work with vendors and stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Selenium, Katalon Studio, UFT, Tricentis Tosca, JIRA, Rally, or ALM.
• Knowledge of firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, packet analysis, forensic tools, disaster recovery, secure coding, and application design.
