Quality Engineering Analyst (Trading Technology)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with four days in the office and one day remote per week

Salary: USD 80,000–150,000 per year, plus potential bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and other testing artifacts.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, backend, and database testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for business-critical trading applications.
• Collaborate with technology teams and business partners to deliver resilient software.
• Track and manage defects while aligning with quality engineering standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in quality engineering or a related role.
• Understanding of order management systems and trade lifecycle processes.
• Experience with Selenium, Karate, UFT, or REST Assured.
• Knowledge of SQL, database testing, analytical problem-solving, and Agile software development practices.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of order management systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
