Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Fintech)

What you will do

• Review functional requirements, user stories, test assets, and acceptance criteria for assigned product areas.
• Build automated UI, API, integration, and performance test cases and expand automated testing coverage.
• Explore and implement AI-assisted testing strategies, including test generation, defect prediction, intelligent test selection, and agentic workflows.
• Configure and verify continuous build plans in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and SonarQube.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams throughout the Agile SDLC, contributing to grooming, planning, retrospectives, and quality practices.
• Provide feedback on product performance, user experience, documentation, and release notes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software quality assurance experience, ideally in financial technology or a related domain.
• Strong experience with Python, Pytest, and Selenium WebDriver for coded UI automation.
• Experience with API and web service testing using Postman or an equivalent tool, plus performance testing.
• Experience with Agile SDLC tools and workflows, including Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, pull requests, branching strategies, and code reviews.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation, SQL databases such as MSSQL or Postgres, and containerized environments using Docker and Gradle.
• BS degree in Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience; MSCS is a plus.

Nice to have

• Groovy, Ruby on Rails, JMeter, or Locust.io experience.
• Experience with SonarQube, APM, log collection and analysis, InfluxDB, and Grafana.
• Experience testing Spring frameworks, N-Tier applications, file processing, configuration, and integrations.
• Knowledge of financial technologies such as FIX, IDC, Reuters, Morningstar, or Bloomberg.
• Experience applying AI/ML to flaky test detection, risk-based test prioritization, or automated root cause analysis.
