QA Engineer (FinTech)

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; 5 days onsite

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Test changes to the B2B product in lower environments and validate production deployments.
• Write and maintain automated tests using Testim, Selenium, and RestAssured.
• Run reliable automated suites in DevOps pipelines and expand regression and smoke coverage.
• Use AI-assisted tools to generate test cases, test data, and draft automation scripts, then review and correct the output.
• Convert customer-reported issues and support escalations into permanent regression scenarios.
• Participate in requirements and specification sessions to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of software quality assurance or test automation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of test case design, regression testing, defect lifecycle, and severity triage.
• Exposure to Testim, Selenium, RestAssured, Playwright, Cypress, or a similar automation tool, with the ability to read and write basic code or scripts.
• Hands-on experience with an AI coding or testing assistant such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor, and the judgment to review generated output.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership of issues through resolution.
