IT Quality Analyst - Remote

Location: Remote within the United States; Santa Rosa, California

Salary: $73,900–$98,500 annually

What you will do

• Test software applications to verify functionality, quality, and compliance with standards.
• Develop and execute automated and manual test scripts for new and modified applications.
• Review documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts to validate application behavior.
• Collaborate with programmers, business units, and stakeholders to create and validate test plans.
• Analyze workflows, report progress on issue resolution, and recommend quality improvements.
• Maintain testing procedures and results documentation and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of IT QA experience, including automated testing with third-party tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA testing approaches such as black-box, white-box, smoke, and unit testing.
• Strong proficiency with Windows PC and mainframe CICS environments.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for test management and collaboration.
• Ability to measure test effectiveness, track progress, communicate results, and adapt to new testing methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Leapwork or other test automation tools.
