Consulting Director - Surgical Services/PPI (Healthcare)

Location: Virtual Office; regular travel to client sites is required.

Salary: $117,600–$206,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead complex Surgical Services and Physician Preference Items consulting engagements from discovery through implementation and value realization.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, current-state assessments, root-cause analysis, and opportunity identification.
• Oversee analysis of clinical, operational, financial, and supply chain data to develop strategic insights and business cases.
• Design implementation roadmaps, governance structures, change management approaches, and adoption strategies.
• Facilitate executive-level working sessions and advise senior and C-suite healthcare leaders.
• Mentor consultants and advance consulting methodologies, tools, case studies, and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of relevant experience.
• Service line management experience in surgical services or perioperative departments.
• Relevant degree preferred; a clinical degree is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Experience analyzing financial, operational, and quality data and translating findings into performance improvement strategies.
• Strong consulting, project leadership, change management, presentation, facilitation, and executive influencing skills.
