Java Developer III (E3) (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States; onsite work with 10% travel

Salary: $128,000–$176,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain machine control software applications using Java.
• Implement and manage microservices architecture for scalable and efficient software.
• Collaborate with systems and application engineers to integrate equipment software solutions.
• Analyze requirements, create functional specifications, develop solutions, and support testing.
• Communicate development status and delays while coordinating delivery with cross-functional and global teams.
• Interface with internal and external customers throughout solution development and support.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java programming and experience with microservice architecture and related technologies.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented technology, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience translating system requirements into software designs with application and systems teams.
• Strong software diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar field, plus 8+ years of experience.
