QA Technician

Location: Paterson, WA, USA (Plant)

What you will do

• Tag bulk product containers and pallets according to department and company policies.
• Sample bulk and finished products and perform attribute grade analysis based on USDA criteria.
• Sample products and facilities to identify microbial presence and verify tolerance levels.
• Verify blanching, freezing, sanitizing, and chlorination systems.
• Audit cutting, blanching, freezing, and other production processes.
• Report quality variances, excessive tolerances, and unsafe activities to supervisors or Human Resources.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus three to six months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization.
• Basic personal computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
