hirify.global is developing an autonomous aircraft network using long-range VTOL aircraft and autonomy software for time-sensitive medical logistics between hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare facilities.

What you will do

  • Own and maintain the authoritative master CAD model and outer-mold-line geometry for Haast aircraft.
  • Develop complete aircraft lofts and production-quality surfaces for fuselages, wings, intersections, fairings, nacelles, booms, empennage, payload doors, access panels, and propulsion integrations.
  • Build stable parametric master- and skeleton-model architectures with controlled coordinate systems, reference geometry, datums, guide curves, and loft features.
  • Inspect and improve surface quality using curvature, zebra, deviation, section-cut, and other CAD analysis methods.
  • Convert outer-mold-line surfaces into manufacturable composite structures, tooling surfaces, molds, fixtures, drawings, and production data.
  • Collaborate with aerodynamic, structural, manufacturing, and flight-test teams to resolve geometry, tooling, fit, and design-intent issues.

Requirements

  • At least two years of professional experience in aircraft lofting, airframe surface design, aerospace CAD, or aircraft product definition.
  • Demonstrated experience defining the outer mold line or master geometry for a complete aircraft or major airframe assembly.
  • Expert proficiency in CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks, or an equivalent production CAD platform.
  • Advanced experience with complex surfacing, multi-section lofting, guide curves, boundary surfaces, trimming, blending, repair, spline behavior, and curvature control.
  • Knowledge of aircraft coordinate systems, airfoil data, aerodynamic intersections, control-surface geometry, GD&T, tolerance analysis, engineering drawings, and configuration control.
  • Experience with composite, molded, machined, or fabricated aerospace structures and a portfolio demonstrating complex aircraft lofting and surfacing work.

Nice to have

  • Experience with fixed-wing UAV, eVTOL, general-aviation, or experimental-aircraft development.
  • Experience with CATIA Generative Shape Design, Siemens NX Shape Studio, PDM or PLM systems, and aerospace release workflows.
  • Experience developing molds, tooling surfaces, trim fixtures, assembly jigs, and composite manufacturing data.
  • Familiarity with CFD geometry preparation, mesh-ready surface cleanup, and geometry exchange with aerodynamic-analysis tools.
  • Hands-on experience supporting aircraft fabrication, assembly, inspection, and flight testing.
