Healthcare Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist II (SNF)

Location: Remote flexibility available; discuss work preferences with the recruiter.

Salary: $23.00–$30.00 per hour, plus potential annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Deliver healthcare consulting services independently for complex clients, including skilled nursing, independent living, and assisted living organizations.
• Analyze and reconcile claims, reimbursements, provider performance metrics, and other healthcare financial and operational data.
• Prepare client-ready reports and documentation in line with healthcare standards and firm protocols.
• Support onboarding by gathering intake data, configuring systems, and ensuring regulatory readiness.
• Collaborate with compliance, IT, finance, and other cross-functional teams to resolve client challenges and implement improvements.
• Manage client communication, project status, risks, timelines, budgets, and documentation standards.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Accounting, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare operations, or a related client-facing role.
• Familiarity with healthcare systems, including EHRs and claims processing platforms.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA and MACRA, as well as payer requirements.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
