Senior Product Manager (CAD/BIM)

Location: Remote within the United States, with hiring prioritized in hubs including New York City, Austin, Durham, and San Francisco

What you will do

• Own the vision, roadmap, and execution for Studio's 2D and 3D authoring workflows, including plans, elevations, and options.
• Conduct discovery with drafters and internal Studio users by observing their workflows.
• Partner with Studio Engineering and Building Generation on the API between the building model and Studio's interaction and rendering systems.
• Define quality standards for interaction latency, geometric correctness, and undo integrity.
• Own metrics including activation, time-to-first-plan, authoring throughput, plan reuse, and model correctness.
• Set the direction for extending Studio to estimating, purchasing, and sales personas without degrading the drafter experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience on modern software products.
• Experience shipping complex, interactive applications with measurable impact, ideally authoring tools, editors, or design software.
• Technical fluency, including the ability to read architecture, reason about data models, and make trade-offs with engineering.
• Experience prototyping quickly with tools such as Cursor, Replit, or v0.dev.
• Clear communication across engineering, design, and business audiences.
• Exposure to CAD or BIM systems such as Revit, Rhino, or SketchUp, or browser 3D tooling such as Three.js or WebGL.

Nice to have

• Professional experience in residential construction, homebuilding, or architecture.
• Experience shipping AI-assisted capabilities inside an authoring tool.
