Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Remote, hybrid, or in-office; employees must reside in California, Illinois, Texas, Minnesota, Colorado, Georgia, New York, Massachusetts, or Connecticut. Occasional travel is required for on-site data center work in the Los Angeles or Las Vegas area.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 base salary annually, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Own monitoring, incident response, availability, and reliability for IT-critical services.
• Deploy, secure, and troubleshoot Mac workstations, Ubuntu servers, AWS infrastructure, networking, and physical access systems.
• Administer and automate the SaaS stack, including Okta, Google Workspace, Duo, Jamf, and Sophos.
• Expand the AWS operations environment with Terraform and maintain reproducible, code-reviewed infrastructure.
• Build and operate data pipelines moving MySQL, Salesforce, and spreadsheet data into a warehouse.
• Lead infrastructure migrations, support help desk overflow, and maintain operational documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or site reliability engineering experience with production ownership.
• Production Linux administration, including building, hardening, patching, and troubleshooting physical and cloud systems; Ubuntu experience is preferred.
• Hands-on AWS administration with IAM, VPC networking, S3, and CloudTrail.
• Terraform plus at least one configuration management tool: Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• MacOS fleet management with Jamf or a comparable MDM, and identity provider administration with Okta or a comparable IdP.
• Residence in one of the approved US states and eligibility to work in the United States are required; occasional data center travel is also required.

Nice to have

• Residence within 250 miles of Los Angeles or Las Vegas.
• Experience in PCI DSS, SOC 2, or a similarly audited environment.
• Fortigate, Meraki, or comparable firewall and switching administration.
• AWS, Jamf, Terraform, or Security+ certification.
