Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annual U.S. total compensation

What you will do

• Partner with enterprise customers to identify high-value AI use cases and pilot opportunities.
• Build iterative prototypes that demonstrate measurable value against defined KPIs.
• Lead technical briefings and translate agentic architectures and AI concepts into business value, ROI, and risk considerations.
• Align engineers, business stakeholders, and C-suite executives around a shared technical vision.
• Advise on prompt engineering, LLM selection, tool and function design, governance, and cost control.
• Feed customer learnings into product roadmaps and create repeatable deployment playbooks.

Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing, hands-on advisory role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Field CTO.
• Track record of building working prototypes and solutions under ambiguity.
• Experience with enterprise data and application integration.
• Solid understanding of AI and LLM concepts, including prompt engineering, governance, model selection, tool design, and cost-performance trade-offs.
• Strong communication skills across deep technical and executive-level business discussions.
• Ability to collaborate across Pre-Sales, Post-Sales, Product, and Engineering.

Nice to have

• Hands-on programming experience with Python or JavaScript/Node.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or the Model Context Protocol.
• Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as iPaaS.
• Experience deploying AI or software solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
