Senior Portfolio Finance Manager (Energy)

What you will do

• Manage the financial performance of a portfolio of large and complex energy infrastructure projects across the Americas.
• Partner with project managers to track performance against budget and maintain monthly revenue, cost, and margin estimates at completion.
• Ensure accounting compliance, commercial contract adherence, internal controls, and accurate project forecasting.
• Manage customer contract changes, supplier claims, project transactions, penalties, guarantees, and liquidated damages.
• Coordinate project reviews and manage construction subcontractors and suppliers to support delivery timelines and quality.
• Mentor junior Portfolio Finance Managers and improve project onboarding and execution processes.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of financial management experience for large projects, preferably in the energy sector.
• Experience with engineering, procurement and construction projects and equipment supply or services agreements.
• Advanced knowledge of project accounting, including percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, project lifecycles, and commercial contract terms.
• Experience with project risk management, including insurance, securities, guarantees, liquidated damages, and customer or supplier negotiations.
• Experience using SAP, Unifier, Primavera, or similar systems, along with strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship is required.
