Project Accounting Manager (Energy Storage)

Location: Remote within the United States; willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

Salary: $104,000–$166,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage project setup and maintenance in NetSuite, including financial coding, activity codes, cost categories, and reporting structures.
• Prepare project cost reports, budget-to-actual analyses, committed cost schedules, variance explanations, and KPI reporting.
• Monitor purchase orders, vendor commitments, accruals, project costs, forecasts, and estimate-at-completion updates.
• Support percentage-of-completion revenue recognition, milestone tracking, project billing, and cash flow forecasting.
• Track CAPEX and OPEX, maintain audit trails and project documentation, and support SOX controls, tax-credit reviews, audits, and financing due diligence.
• Partner with project accounting leadership, FP&A, project delivery teams, and finance stakeholders to improve project financial management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or an equivalent field.
• 8–10 years of accounting or finance experience with progressive responsibility and a strong background in project accounting.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite modules, including the Project module; experience with Nexonia is relevant.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, strong analytical and technical accounting skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check; hirify.global participates in E-Verify.
