EHS Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Torrance, California; onsite at the manufacturing facility in Los Angeles

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 annually, plus equity grants and semi-annual performance bonuses

What you will do

• Lead and maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across the organization while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Partner with operations leadership, engineers, and employees to implement safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage occupational safety programs covering high voltage, crane safety, chemical management, incident management, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and air quality.
• Manage the safety ticketing system, metrics, inspections, and proactive workplace safety opportunities.
• Lead accident and incident investigations, analyze root causes, implement preventive actions, and manage occupational or workers’ compensation injuries.
• Own hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, including handling, labeling, and storage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Safety Management, Occupational Safety, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing and implementing EHS programs in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, CUPA, SCAQMD, and NIOSH regulations.
• Working knowledge of ANSI standards.
• Ability to work onsite in a fast-moving manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
