EHS Specialist II (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Blue Ash, Ohio, USA; travel up to 10%.

What you will do

• Implement, maintain, and improve EHSS&S programs to meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Inspect manufacturing areas, identify hazards, and track corrective actions.
• Partner with facility leaders and employees to promote safe work practices.
• Lead incident, injury, and near-miss investigations.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs.
• Manage environmental permits, compliance reporting, records, PSM initiatives, risk assessments, and audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or an industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, PSM, RMP, NFPA, and related regulations.
• Experience with audits, investigations, hazard assessments, and employee training.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• ASP, CSP, CHMM, CIH, or related professional certification.
• Experience with PSM-regulated operations and Process Hazard Analyses, including PHA or HAZOP.
• Project management experience leading safety or compliance initiatives.
• Experience with industrial hygiene, exposure assessments, and chemical management systems.
