EHS & Quality Compliance Specialist (Marine): Supporting product compliance, workplace safety, environmental compliance, and quality initiatives across a marine manufacturing facility with an accent on audits, regulatory programs, and corrective actions. Focus on investigating nonconformities, maintaining OSHA/EPA compliance, coordinating safety training, and driving continuous improvement.
Location: Clarkston, Washington, United States; onsite work in office and manufacturing environments. Regular facility inspections, audits, and product evaluations are required. Occasional travel of up to 10% may be required. Relocation is not available.
Salary: $43,200–$599,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do
- Manage product compliance and certification activities for new and existing marine products.
- Plan and lead product audits, document findings, coordinate corrective actions, and support continuous improvement.
- Investigate quality and compliance nonconformities, warranty trends, customer feedback, and root causes.
- Support new product development, inspections, testing, validation, and standard operating procedure development.
- Maintain facility safety and environmental compliance programs, including inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-up.
- Coordinate employee safety training and maintain programs for hazard communication, SDS management, Lockout/Tagout, waste management, and environmental compliance.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in manufacturing, quality, compliance, EHS, or a related role in a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, quality systems, auditing, and regulatory compliance principles.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- Experience in marine or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with ABYC, NMMA, USCG, EPA, CARB, ISO/CE, or similar standards.
- OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, Lean Six Sigma, or related certifications.
- Experience with quality management systems, compliance tracking tools, audit software, or CAD software.
