Data Center Technician (German Speaker, On-Site)

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, install, and upgrade internal and external data center hardware systems.
• Provision and set up environments in collaboration with Infrastructure and Business Services.
• Monitor data center usage and performance using standard management tools.
• Respond to production issues escalated by clients and support teams.
• Improve data center reliability and performance through system enhancements and automation processes.
• Train personnel and coordinate with service providers on data center operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience, or a master's degree with 3 years of related experience; equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.
• In-depth knowledge of large-scale enterprise data center operations platforms.
• Experience with on-premises, distributed, and hybrid data center environments.
• Knowledge of data center facilities, servers, networking, virtualization, cloud, and container technologies.
• Ability to combine metrics, events, and traces into a holistic IT operations system.
• Fluent German and English required.
