Supplier Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

Salary: $109,200–$150,150 base annual salary

What you will do

• Coordinate supplier quality activities and deliverables across assigned development projects.
• Lead new product introduction, supplier selection, and early supplier involvement.
• Integrate supplier and hirify.global technology expertise into product development and industrialization.
• Ensure quality, manufacturability, serviceability, qualification, and first article inspection requirements are addressed.
• Define and maintain supplier interface processes for issue resolution, deviations, configuration changes, and factory disturbances.
• Drive supplier development, improvement actions, operational excellence, and supplier audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, optics, mechatronics, electronics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years with a master’s degree in a relevant engineering, supplier quality, industrial engineering, or project management role.
• Experience in high-tech industry and complex modules, with knowledge of product industrialization and supplier quality management.
• Experience with FMEA, control plans, process flows, FAI, MSA, SPC, capability analysis, PPAP, and qualification methodologies.
• Ability to assess manufacturing processes and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, technical specifications, and CTQ requirements.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with semiconductor, optics, precision mechanics, mechatronics, electronics, coatings, or complex assembly technologies.
