(USA) Team Manager Developmental

Location: Onsite at 2401 N Rose Ave, Oxnard, California, United States

Salary: $70,500–$95,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and possible Regional Pay Zone compensation.

A large retail organization operating Sam's Club facilities and providing membership-based merchandise and services.

What you will do

• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, schedule, evaluate, and recognize hourly Associates while fostering a culture of belonging.
• Manage sales, expenses, wages, budgets, staffing levels, and profit performance for the assigned area.
• Drive merchandise presentation, pricing, inventory availability, cleanliness, stocking, rotation, and member service standards.
• Oversee food safety, cold chain compliance, sanitation, temperature control, date coding, product rotation, and recalls.
• Coordinate opening and closing operations, communicate issues and resource needs, and implement action plans to address deficiencies.
• Build member relationships, support membership growth, collaborate with stakeholders, and execute company programs and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Two or more years of college; or one year of retail experience with six months of supervisory experience; or two years of general work experience with one year of supervisory experience.
• Alternatively, one year of Sam's Club experience or three years of military experience.
• Work onsite at the Oxnard, California location.
• Ability to uphold company policies, safety controls, quality assurance standards, food safety requirements, and applicable laws.
• Ability to analyze reports, manage operational and financial performance, develop action plans, and lead Associates.

Nice to have

• Environmental compliance or a related field.
• Retail profit and loss statement management experience.
• Additional supervisory experience.
• Warehouse experience with cold chain compliance.
