Producer, Content Localization - Film & Animation

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States

Salary: $132,000–$220,000 annual salary, with the option to allocate compensation between salary and stock options.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end localization lifecycle for assigned titles from initial planning through global launch.
• Coordinate dubbing, subtitling, SDH, audio description, marketing assets, metadata, titles, and forced narratives for long-form content and trailers.
• Define title-level language strategies, select vendors, manage bids and budgets, track assets, and ensure launch readiness.
• Partner with Content, Post, Marketing, Launch Management, Language Production, and external localization partners.
• Analyze project metrics and data to identify root causes, resolve operational issues, and optimize workflows.
• Support new content formats and scalable localization models involving automation and assistive technologies.

Requirements

• 5–7 or more years of localization experience in a high-demand, fast-paced environment, ideally in entertainment.
• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects and high-volume content pipelines, day-and-date workflows, or emerging content formats.
• Strong systems-thinking, strategic problem-solving, analytical, data-driven, and solutions-oriented skills.
• Ability to supervise several projects across development, production, and delivery while making independent decisions and escalating issues appropriately.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across creative, operational, technical, and product teams.
• Fluency in English required. Regular project oversight outside business hours may be required to support day-and-date launches.
