Senior Reliability Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Pensacola, Florida, United States; primarily an on-site role with a remote work arrangement noted as eligible for this position. Up to 10% travel to other U.S. and international manufacturing locations may be required.

What you will do

• Analyze equipment performance and failure data, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Assess equipment obsolescence risks and lead replacement projects for aging or unsupported manufacturing assets.
• Drive reliability and continuous improvement initiatives focused on process variation, waste reduction, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, and spare-parts availability.
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including vibration analysis, thermography, lubrication, and condition monitoring.
• Partner with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment, support commissioning, and improve manufacturing throughput.
• Ensure equipment and process changes comply with Environment, Health, Safety, Process Safety Management, regulatory, and company standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, asset management, or related technical roles in manufacturing.
• Expertise in reliability methods such as root-cause analysis, FMEA, RCM, reliability modeling, and predictive or preventive maintenance technologies.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills, with experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM principles.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work around industrial equipment, platforms, heights, outdoor areas, and large-scale chemical environments, and to lift or move 20–35 lb. materials or tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with equipment and process deviation and validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Advanced data-driven root-cause analysis using statistical modeling, condition-monitoring systems, or CMMS analytics.
• Experience in regulated medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology manufacturing.
• CMRP, CRE, or an equivalent reliability certification.
