Jr. Localization Executive, Global Localization

Location: Culver City, California, United States

Salary: $26.87–$47.06 per hour, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Coordinate subtitling, dubbing, accessibility, translation, adaptation, casting, recording, and versioning workflows.
• Track production and delivery schedules from greenlight through distribution, ensuring global release timelines are met.
• Manage source and target materials, localization assets, tracking databases, documentation, and distribution packages.
• Liaise with third-party localization vendors and internal teams across content services, programming, legal, business affairs, creative, marketing, post-production, and production.
• Troubleshoot upstream and downstream asset rejections, monitor customer feedback, and identify workflow improvements.
• Track localization expenditures, support reporting, and contribute to language expansion, accessibility backfill, tooling, AI, and workflow optimization projects.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with subtitling, dubbing, or accessibility localization workflows for films or series across multiple regions and languages.
• 2+ years of experience acquiring and delivering assets from producing entities to studios or vendors.
• 2+ years of experience managing third-party vendors and schedules across global film or episodic television lifecycles.
• 2+ years of experience creating or improving digital media workflows and asset management processes.
• 2+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously under urgent timelines with limited oversight.
• Experience in a global studio or post-production environment focused on episodic television.

Nice to have

• Experience with features, budget management, reporting, and cross-time-zone collaboration.
• Familiarity with foreign languages, AI-aided localization workflows, and component-based mastering workflows such as IMF or MMC.
• Strong stakeholder education, communication, narrative writing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
