Translation Project Coordinator

Location: Brazil (Remote); schedule: 8AM–5PM EST

Salary: $8.00–$12.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support the project management team with service requests, client communication, and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate a high volume of translation and language-service projects across multiple pipelines.
• Assign and coordinate translators, proofreaders, and DTP specialists to support timely, high-quality delivery.
• Develop and maintain user guides, SOPs, workflows, playbooks, and a project management knowledge hub.
• Use translation-industry tools, CRM platforms, and AI tools to improve project efficiency and quality control.
• Prepare documents for translation, including templates, file conversions, formatting, and word-count calculations.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction with clients, linguists, and vendors.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to balance multiple deadlines and priorities.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially advanced Excel functions, PivotTables, conditional formatting, and advanced Word features.
• Expertise in desktop publishing and formatting complex documents.
• Ability to learn and use project management and CRM tools such as ClickUp or HubSpot.
• Ability to work remotely from Brazil with reliable internet and to coordinate across time zones during 8AM–5PM EST.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience managing translation or language-service projects.
• Experience in the language services industry.
• Knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot.
