Location: Redwood City, California; US-based candidates only. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $213,000–$319,000 annually

What you will do

• Own internal guidance on language sets, service levels, and translation quality.
• Evaluate priority languages and maintain language tiering models.
• Promote localization and internationalization best practices across the organization.
• Act as an escalation point for translation-related issues and identify needs by language tier.
• Establish style guidelines covering translation tone and formality.
• Manage approved translation and localization vendors and tools.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in localization, translation management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of language tiering models and translation quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and driving process improvements; familiarity with translation tools and technologies.
