TL;DR
Business Analyst (Contract) (Aerospace MRO Data Analysis): Analyzing operational data, inventory performance, and MRO forecasts to improve stock accuracy, efficiency, and logistics costs across a $27M+ portfolio supporting more than 450 aircraft with an accent on reporting, performance metrics, and data consistency. Focus on consolidating data across platforms, maintaining repositories in Skywise and AppSheet, and coordinating forecast requirements with global supply chain, vendors, and repair locations.
Location: Grand Prairie, Texas, United States; 100% onsite. Travel: 10% domestic and international.

What you will do
- Validate, organize, and analyze operational data for monthly management reporting.
- Identify cost drivers, improve stock accuracy and efficiency, reduce inventory and logistics costs, and mitigate performance-penalty risks.
- Establish and report performance metrics covering cost drivers, stock availability, efficiency, and forecast accuracy.
- Coordinate data exchanges across internal and external platforms and maintain a centralized data repository using tools such as Skywise and AppSheet.
- Coordinate MRO forecasts for removals, repairs, and material requirements across TBO and SLL assets.
- Communicate quarterly or as-needed forecast requirements with global supply chain, procurement, vendors, repair locations, and company partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, statistics, aeronautics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to interpret raw data, performance metrics, contract deliverables, and procedures.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and Tableau; ability to obtain general SAP proficiency within one year.
- Ability to plan independently, solve problems analytically, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or experience with aviation fleet data analysis and reporting.
- Experience building data-analysis, reporting, and performance-metric tools.
- AppScript, Office Script, Gemini, data visualization, or Salesforce experience.
- French or German proficiency.
