What you will do

• Identify business opportunities and translate stakeholder problems into AI solution designs.
• Prototype, iterate, and build production-ready applications using LLMs and foundation models.
• Own use cases end-to-end, from problem definition through governance, production deployment, and adoption.
• Integrate APIs, data pipelines, model services, front-end components, and business workflows.
• Navigate risk reviews, compliance processes, and architecture approvals.
• Document reusable delivery patterns and share them across the AI hub.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, applied AI, or solutions engineering, including production software delivery.
• Associate’s degree plus 7 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience; equivalent education and experience may be accepted.
• Hands-on experience building production applications with LLMs or foundation models, including prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, agent frameworks, or tool calling.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to discover problems and define technical solutions.
• Ability to work across the full stack, including API integration, data pipelines, model integration, and front-end or workflow integration.
• Experience navigating governance, compliance, risk reviews, and architecture approvals.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with agentic AI patterns, multi-step workflows, tool use, and guarded autonomous execution.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, Anthropic Claude, Azure APIM, or comparable enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience mentoring or training others in AI delivery practices.
