Summer Internship - Airworthiness & Certification Engineering (Aerospace)

Location: Mobile Area, Alabama, United States; full-time onsite. Must be willing to relocate to Mobile, AL for the duration of the internship.

hirify.global develops and certifies commercial aircraft and operates its Airworthiness and Certification department under hirify.global Design Organisation Approval procedures and EASA regulations.

What you will do

• Support aircraft upgrade certification, Service Bulletin reviews, repair approvals, initial delivery declarations, and DOA monitoring.
• Participate in engineering improvement and innovation projects involving automation, digitalization, API or web application development, and data analytics.
• Build and maintain performance and financial dashboards and improve certification data tracking tools.
• Generate engineering reports, templates, weekly status reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
• Organize engineering data, route documents for review, consolidate information, and coordinate with internal and external customers.
• Support engineering projects and department-level project management activities.

Requirements

• Full-time enrollment in an accredited four-year engineering or computer science degree program; minimum sophomore standing or enrollment in a master's program.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Experience leading engineering or university research projects independently or under supervision.
• Entry-level programming skills in Python or Apps Script.
• Familiarity with CAD or analysis tools such as AutoCAD or CATIA, and Google or Microsoft productivity suites.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
