Sr Maintenance Technician (Filler) Nights

Location: Jacksonville - Middleburg, Florida, United States; onsite night shift

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair fillers, cappers, blow molders, injection molders, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, stretch wrappers, and plant auxiliary equipment.
• Identify machine problems rapidly, perform root cause analysis, and reduce recurring failures and equipment downtime.
• Lead planned equipment overhauls, upgrades, continuous improvement projects, and machine reliability initiatives.
• Develop troubleshooting SOPs and upload them to the BDA system.
• Train operators, mechanics, supervisors, and maintenance team members on equipment operation, repair, and technical procedures.
• Work with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve mechanical and production issues.

Requirements

• Six years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment and six years of experience in the position.
• Four years of experience managing people or projects.
• High school diploma or GED; an associate degree in a manufacturing-related field is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process instrumentation schematics.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment, shop equipment, power tools, and industrial mechanical systems.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, maintain predictable attendance, provide on-call availability, and supply a personal toolbox and basic tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with blow molding, injection molding, packaging, or beverage manufacturing.
• Experience with Krones, Husky, Sidel, or comparable bottling and packaging equipment.
• Experience with welding and fabrication, 480VAC and 24VDC systems, variable frequency drives, servo systems, PLCs, industrial communication buses, and safety modules.
