Long-term Internship - Cabin Engineering (Aerospace)

hirify.global develops and supports commercial aircraft and aircraft cabin systems across the product life cycle, from product development and manufacturing to airline customer support.

What you will do

• Support the design, analysis, and certification of commercial aircraft cabin interior components.
• Participate in engineering improvement and innovation projects involving automation, digitalization, API and web application development, and data analytics.
• Prepare engineering reports, templates, worksheets, presentations, and technical documents.
• Organize engineering data, route documents for review, archive materials, and compile results for future reference.
• Track project progress through weekly status reports and coordinate with internal and external customers.
• Attend meetings, record minutes, and support illustration and data presentation activities.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Must be currently local to the Mobile, Alabama area for this multi-semester onsite opportunity.
• Enrollment in an accredited full-time four-year engineering or computer science program; minimum sophomore level or current enrollment in a master's program.
• Experience leading student or internship engineering projects, or conducting supervised university research.
• Knowledge of data science, data analytics, web development, or API development, with programming skills in Python, C++, or R.
• Knowledge of systems engineering and MBSE, CAD or engineering analysis tools, technical procedures, engineering drawings, and bill of materials systems.
